90-Day Challenge!

I decided to set up a 90-Day Challenge for myself. It takes about that long to see a big difference in your body, it takes about that long to break bad habits and create new ones, and most importantly I've never done one before. I've done some 30-Day challenges before, half-heartedly, and I wanted to prove to myself that I can stick it out for the whole 3 months. I also wanted to prove to myself that I never really see big results because 1) I don't give it enough time and 2) I don't give it my all.

If you've ever read just one of my blogs before, you most likely know that I don't like exercise. Eating healthy comes easily to me, but I have forever struggled with exercise. I'm hoping that I can use this challenge to make exercise something that is easier for me to get up and do. I may never love exercise, but I want to be able to do it without dreading it. I want to view it as just another thing I have to check off my to-do list for that day.

I set up my challenge in a way that I thought would work best for me. I planned out every single workout for 90 days. I did this to make sure I don't get bored and to incorporate muscle confusion by not doing the same types of workouts all the time. Every meal and snack is planned out and I even set up reminders in my phone to help me as well. I am easily distracted and super forgetful, so every hour of the day is accounted for.

I was really sore this morning and working out was horrendous, but I am really proud of myself for sticking with it.

    Great job TaMara! I have to tell you - most people that i know who used to hate exercise and like it now say that it took 2.5-3 months to get to that point. It took about 2.5 months for me to start wanting to do it regularly as well. It's a great feeling when one day you realize you're annoyed because you don't have time to exercise! :)
