Casting our Ships in Uncharted Waters

Saturday, February 09, 2013

A Ship is not built to sit idle in the harbor, but it is built to sail, are we going to sit idle in the harbor or are we going to let our light so shine before men and be a witness for Christ winning a harvest of souls for Christ?

A light hidden under a basket cannot be seen, however a light that is set on a lampstand can be seen by all who pass by the lampstand.

A Ship who sits idle in the harbor cannot be seen, on the other hand a ship who sets sail into uncharted waters will be seen by all who pass by.

Jesus desires for all men to be saved, let's not hide our light under a basket but instead let's shine for Jesus setting our ships sailing into the bright blue sea of uncharted waters, winning a harvest of souls to Christ.

Matthew 5:14-15

New King James Version (NKJV)

“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.

1 Timothy 2:3-5

New King James Version (NKJV)

3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus.
