My three good reasons to keep going

1) 3.5 pounds. I am 3.5 pounds away from my goal weight. HOLY! I still can’t get over it. I joked with my friends when I started that they’d have a hard time keeping clothes on me if I ever lost all the weight. I never thought it would actually happen. But it did! Also turns out I like clothes, so I don’t foresee me running through the streets in my birthday suit. (Luckily for my friends!) Which brings me to my next reason…
2) My birthday – last February, on my 31st birthday, I was at my highest weight ever. This February I’m almost 50 pounds less. Cheers to me!! My goal for my birthday next February is be a the same weight, but in even better shape. Because I really, really want to able to do at least one real, honest to goodness, boobs-to-the-floor, pushup.
3) I feel better. I have more energy, I’m calmer and happier when I work out and eat right. If I’ve fallen off the wagon a bit and get back on track, I always wonder why I stopped. The simple solution here is DON’T STOP!
