Thursday I had my monthly evaluation with my trainer Jacob. He does weigh-ins, measurements, endurance and body strength checks. I lost 1.6 pounds this month, and a total of 3.5" off my waist & hips (since starting in December). I completed a walking mile (including warm-up) in 15 min 20 sec, at 36 second plank (a miracle since I could only do 15 seconds when I started) and 20 push-ups. Whew! But it's all worth it,
Friday, I met with my doctor for a recheck. In December, I found out that I am anemic. He also talked to me about my weight and that I needed to be serrious about losing weight. When I met with him, I weighed-in at 200.6 pounds! Then he told me the real shocker. When I weighed-in in February 2009, I weighed 231 pounds!! I have lost 7 pounds since November and 6 of those pounds have been since I started working with Jacob.
Working with a trainer isn't cheap thought. I pay $50 a month in gym fees, plus an additional $200 for Jacob. It's definetly worth every penny though. I am seeing results and also working on some mobility issues I was having.
I am a member of SparkCoach and recently changed the program I am working on. I am not very consistent about some things. This month I am working on consistently exercising and tracking my food. These are really important things I need to seriously work on.
180's and lower here I come!
