Today's homework is telling why we failed to reach our 5% goal.
We have to list three and give a strategy for success for this year.
My exuses that I have told myself countless times are:
1)It doesn't matter if I have another cookie, I can start over tomorrow.
Haha on that one! It is a bad thing to say to yourself.
2) I am too tried or feel just plain lazy so I won't exercise today.
3) Stress or joint pain is another reason why I don't exercise some days.
(Or unforeseen family emergency like grandmother's triple Bypass surgery).
The things I CAN do to succeed this time around is to:
Use my exercise and calorie tracker. Even when the electricity goes out.
Or we have busy/hectic schedule due to Dr appointments or job interviews.
I will still log my homework for my Cats group (including weigh ins).
I will also be using Dr.Phil's Ultimate Weight Loss book.
It gives you seven good solid principles to help lose weight.
(He is very down to earth and you got to really think hard to do his work).
Accountability with with my team mates will also be in my plans today.
Watching how much I eat and portion sizes will go under both plans.
Plus, doing positive thinking exercises and talking instead of eating.
And encouraging others on their weight loss journey.
