Today's fasting blood sugar was 5.5 and I took the metformin with dinner and because my night blood sugar was over 5 I didn't have a night time snack. I think it worked well. I woke up very hungry but by the time I did my morning chores was not hungry at all so just had a protein smoothie for breakfast with fruit and flax seed oil. Have not felt that great all morning but my pre lunch sugars are 4.9 which is fine. I've been doing some heavy housework but no exercise yet today. I'll continue taking blood sugars and tracking my food this week monitering effects of exercise and food combinations.
Update - Cheesecake raised my sugars to 6.7 tonight which is... not high at all. I am quite surprised at my low numbers consistently. That was my carb/protein snack and not much fiber. We'll see the effect in the morning. Took Metformin af bedtime snack tonight.
