I have a confession

Saturday, February 09, 2013

I really want to get back into working out and taking care of myself. When I look at all my DVDs and consider joining a gym, or even an exercise class I just get no spark. So here I sit starring at my body and starring at the tapes and the ads and doing nothing. Then yesterday I watched a reality show (Tia and Tamara) where they went to Richard Simmons gym I thought why not I have some of the videos, then I went to Walmart and they had the 20 anniversary DVD of the first one so I shelled out the $10.00. I watched it in my sick bed last night. Today I actually worked out to it this morning in the privacy of my bedroom where no one could see me. But guess what...... IT WAS FUN!!!! i am not going to hide it from anyone I LIKE THE RICHARD SIMMONS SWEATIN TO THE OLDIES!!!! It was a 30 minute cardio and it got me off my butt that is all that I want.

I remember working out with Richard way back when I had my first daughter. He was on regular TV and at a good time for me to get my body moving!

That would be a great DVD to have and no need to be embarrassed, a good workout is a good workout and his are great!

Good for YOU! Sweatin' to the Oldies...I'm old and I sure do sweat! But, seriously, you did great! Congratulations on half an hour of cardio!

    Thanks for writing.
