A much needed rest for my legs

So this was the first week that I actually incorporated targeted strength training. I am feeling it!! My legs are so sore and Thursday my arms were on fire. I've been alternating between legs and my arms and back. I woke up this morning and could hardly walk, which sucks because it hurts but it's amazing because I know those muscles are getting a great workout! I am feeling so motivated today, I really wish I wasn't in so much pain because I would so forgo my rest day and workout but I don't want to push my muscles too hard. I am going to try and get in an upper body workout, either arms or my core, not sure yet. I've already met my minutes and calorie burn for the week so it's not neccisary but I might do it anyway. I haven't weighed myself because like I said I don't have access to a scale unless I go to my moms house. But I put on a pair of yoga like pants that I never wore because they were too tight and I can get them on and they are not as tight so that makes me happy!!! Well dears I'm off to enjoy my weekend.
