today i have been baking.first i made a banana and date cake, useing the banana instead of egg.and as the banana and date are sweet i needed less sugar.for the topping i used a mixture of darkckocolate and low fat cream cheese and only put on the top and not on the side so relatively healthy

with the left over chocolate the kids coated some rice cakes.we always make are own as not only are the a lot,lot cheaper it gives the kids something to do on bad weather days and they have is also healthier for tzhem than other chocolate biscuits.

while the cake was baking i made some bread dough.had originally planed to make pitta bread with falafel but lotfi phoned said he wanted soup, fish and garlic saute potatoes so made normal bread rolls instead with a sonflower seed and flax seed make it shine put on natural yogurt instead of beaten egg. here is the before and after photo.

Yummy looking cake AND bread. Where do you live in Germany? I lived in Bitburg many many years ago.

I saw a recipe on pintrest. You take 2 ripe bananas and 1 cup of quick oats and bake 10 minutes at 350 to make little cookies. You can add in chocolate chips or whatever. Can't wait to try.
