Weighing in today at 180.2. Yay! The scale is moving in the right direction. My plan for this weekend is to cook ahead for the week. Cooking ahead and weighing out portions really helps keep me on track. I have 5 lbs of boneless, skinless chicken breasts to brown up, and put into 3 oz portions. And I have 3 lbs of ground turkey to brown up, too. Below is a sausage spice recipe to add to ground turkey, to enjoy sausage taste without the excess fat.
I'm going to a full body workout class at the gym from 12-1, followed by a 30 min abs class.
Recipe for sausage spice: a dry herb blend for giving any ground meat a "sausage" flavoring. This is enough to mix in 1 pound of meat.
1 tsp Paprika
1 Tbsp Salt
1 tsp Black pepper
1 Tbsp Garlic Powder
1 Tbsp Fennel or Caraway seed
1 tsp Red Pepper flakes
