Peanut Butter and Honey Green Smoothie

Please note - This recipe was created before I started the Virgin Diet, and is NOT Virgin friendly.

Peanut Butter and Honey Green Smoothie Hen

2 cups Spinach - packed measure
1 1/2 cups Vanilla Almond Milk
1 cup Ice Cubes

1/2 Banana - fresh or frozen
2 TBS Peanut Butter
1 TBS Raw Honey

1/3 cup Whole Oats

1 TBS Flaxseed oil

Pack the Spinach in the blender, add the Milk and Ice and blend.

Add the Banana, Peanut Butter & Honey and blend.

Add the Oats and blend.

Add the Flaxseed oil and blend.

Makes one large serving.

    I don't see why not... I often swap them around, just to get the nutty flavor of toasted ground flaxseed... That being said, the flaxseed oil does help the body absorb the nutrients of the greens.

    Going to try that tomorrow. sounds good. can I substitute the flaxseed oil for just ground flaxseed? emoticon
