Omen

Saturday, February 09, 2013

The other evening ,I stopped by the store to pick up something for diner as I was walking to the door I noticed my shadow. Now I know it has always been with me I just hadn't paid much attention to it in a long time. It was about 7 or 8 foot tall and a body to kill for lol. A thought crossed my mind . I hadn't noticed my shadow in years, just like I haven't really took care of myself in years. Maybe it was an omen. Now I know I will never be 7 or 8 foot tall and if I follow in Mom's footsteps I will shrink to about 4'9 , for I am 5'1. So maybe it was telling me I could have that kill for body. This thought made me smile. It could of also been telling me the other shadow is short and fat and that is where you are headed. No that one can stay just a shadow. I am shooting for the other one. Motivating, pleasant to the eye. Just to notice it was a big motivation. Have a great week-end my friends. emoticon

Oh, I had to kinda chuckle @ this one. I am 4 ft. 10.5 in. . . . on a good day! LOL If I shrink I'll be in trouble! And go figure . . . my Mom is 5 ft. 8, Dad is 6 ft. 2.5 in and my brother is 6 ft. 3! Milk man anyone!?? LOL

I love the shadow analogy, though! Go for the best you can be. You can do it. You ARE doing it.

:D What a great feeling. I know shadows can be funny, but I too have noticed changes and I also have wondered. Yes it is something to shoot for and what a great way to find some motivation.

I saw a story on Our America TV show about a lady in her 90s who is a competitive runner. Now she's not beating all the other competitive runners, but she betters her best. She has shrunk down below 5 feet too and she's still riding her exercycle and competing in races. It's very inspiring!
