No power, no heat, no travel

What kind of name for a storm is Nemo anyhow?
Ok, I guess it's more like the captain than the cartoon fish.

So I'm stuck inside. There is a travel ban in effect. No driving, no public transportation, and I'm a good long walk from anything.

Everything in my home is electric. Charged the cell phone and iPad last night, so I'm not cut off for a while. Will use sparingly. I have food. Bread and peanut butter. Should be fine for a while. Starting to get chilly, but I'll wrap up in blankets on the couch and watch the snow.

I hope everyone else is as well off or better!
Check in with elderly relatives and neighbors.
Be safe!

This is when a wood burning fireplace would be wonderful to have! Dig out the candles -- and do you happen to have an old oil lamp -- they give off a lot of light (if you happen to have the oil).

Pray that you stay safe and snug. I can understand if there are still a few cars on the road out there -- sometimes it is imperative! Pity the stores that open up and then get no business. Guess it's hard on everyone.
