I don't know what is going on I am working out tracking what eat trying to stay motivated and for the last month I have been loosing a pound then gaining a pound then loosing 1/2 pound and gaining a pound I am up 1 1/2 pounds it is very dishearten. I don't know what to do? Has this happened to any one else. I am getting frantic I WILL NOT GIVE UP>> I have lost 25 lbs with 25 more to go and I feel great, I need something to keep me going until this "plateau" decides to leave this body. Does anyone have some suggestions? emoticon

    Ignore the emoticon ! Take measurements, judge by how your clothes are fitting. Check your sodium, too. This is sometimes a problem.

And, like BlueNose said, mix up your workouts. Are you strength training? That can help a LOT, also.

  Time to start mixing things up with your workouts! Also your body fat is turning into muscle and in time it will even itself out....keep doing the basics.....drink the water, eat protein and carb together. Also add in some new exercises that challenge your body and change the days you work out to kick start your body.

Don't worry, it will happen but it takes time and that maybe longer than a couple of months, DON"T BE DISCOURAGED as it happens to all of us on the journey as it is how our body works
