Week 6, Day 7

Last 2 weeks have been busy. Didn't help I got sick. I fell slightly off the wagon, I am still sick- trying to keep my fluids up has been a struggle and I have been taking a few panadol (NZ version of tylenol) to keep my fever under control. I think I am nearly over it as I only had one dose of fever reducer today. I have missed SP & SP coach and keeping track of things. Just things got busy then I got sick. I have decided that I really need to just set aside 5 mins a day for SP. I found a song that is about 5 mins long and if I am busy I will play that song & sign into SP and at least check in & do what I can in those 5 mins.

The good news is that I only fell slightly off plan, thus I found myself with more energy. I took extra walks during the day, did extra activities and even though I was sick did more things around the house then I would have thought possible. Bad news is I retained a lot of water because I ate soups, broths and then drank less water then I needed. I feel bloated. Oddly the fever seemed to kill my hunger & thirst. Trying drink a glass of water made me feel queasy so I would just take sips. Tonight I finally drank a full glass of nice, cool, refreshing water. I cannot believe how good it felt & tasted. So I am planning out things for tomorrow. I will have eggs for breakfast, lunch will be homemade mild chili with lots of fresh veggies to help my body recover. Dinner I will leave open for now. If I feel good enough I may make some healthy snacks tomorrow for later in the week.
