My training just got sidetracked by the bug that's floating around. My daughter went to a sleepover last weekend and bingo, two days later she was sick. (Life lesson to be drawn from this: prohibit daughter from socializing until she is 30...). Followed in order by my wife, and now me. While this makes for a cozy shared family experience, it's not so good for things like working efficiently, or sleeping, or exercising. I somehow don't think I will do my scheduled 11 mile run on Sunday. Maybe I could sleep for 11 hours?
Oh well. I will try not to let this get into my head. I'm sure I'll recover and get more running in prior to the HM on March 2, even a long run before I back off before the race.
Anyone else out there dealing with cold/flu stuff, and how do you handle the interruption it causes for your training?
Now to crawl into bed...
