Life lately haS been a bit of a trial. Death, finances, sickness; life can be depressing. Iívie decided to do a gratitude journal. Find 5 things throughout the day to be thankful for. Find things that I can turn around for the positive, that otherwise would be a downer and put me out of sorts: hurts that keep me from my daily routine, cut off in traffic, cranky sales clerk, bad weather, DH grumbling, etc.
Things like the above can come into play in our healthy eating and exercising routine, but by TRYING to put a positive spin on things I can turn it around. I can only do my best. I have a tendency to be negative, reading my post show that. I admire those who are so motivating, inspirational and positive. They are the ones who get the Motivator Award. They are what I want to be, not to get Motivator award, but to help others and make me feel better about myself.
Sometimes it is hard to turn away from a bad mood, so hopeful the gratitude journal might help.

Having food, a nice home and nice clothing
My SP friends and my personal friends and family
My health, it could be worse.
I have been motivated to exercise and eat somewhat healthy lately
I am closer to my goal than what I was in 2010. 2009 was a good year for my weight. I'm a yoyo.
I could use this for a team blog for CoHP on how I am feeling and progressing.
