Staying Active

Today, I was thinking about how I would do a workout for lunch. Because I really have a sit down job, I need to get up every once in awhile to move. I was thinking about doing Jillian Michaels' 30-day Shred like I did before at another job where I sat down a lot. However, I do not want to carry weights with me to work, because I already carry a few things to work (a lap top, lunch bag, and my purse). So, I'm thinking about doing one of Sparkpeople's Exercise Videos. I want it to be low impact. I can't get too sweaty because there are no showers at my job. This weekend, I will go through a few of the videos & see if there's one I can do at work! I will continue to do my more intense workouts at home!

Also, I'm looking through fitness apps on my home or iPod to see if there are any that have reminders on when to eat or get up and move. If I cannot find one, I may have to set a timer/alarm on my cellphone. If anyone, have a great fitness app on their phone or iPod/iPad, please let me know!

Additionally, I completed Day #5 of clean eating. Again, I'm really proud of myself! Today, I finally hit my 25-gram mark for my fiber as well as hitting calorie intake! WooHoo! Tomorrow is my weigh-in. Like I told my mother, I will be happy with a pound loss! Wish me luck!
