Oh my, what a busy week it was at work. I am an accountant and we were closing the January books. I can always count on the first five business days being hectic and this time was no exception! But all in all, I can say that it went okay. I had planned ahead and had my meals figured out in advance - easy and fast to prepare. I only got to walk at lunch time on two of the five days, but I am still pretty happy with how it went. If I can continue to plan ahead for weeks like this, I should be able to stay within a reasonable caloric intake and get much needed vitamins and minerals, and I should be able to get at least a little activity in. This should enable me to at least maintain my weight on weeks like this and maybe even lose a little. One problem that I had this week was getting to bed on time. I didn't get enough sleep so that is something that I need to work on. I have to give that one some thought. One thing I am thinking of doing is pre-cooking some things and freezing them for those weeks. Then all I would need to do is heat up the food. That might save a bit of time too.
