I have been consistantly tracking and exercising since December 2012 and I have lost 6#. I have a goal of 10000 steps per day and I can get that pretty easy if I get on the treadmill or do Leslie Sansone walking tape for a mile or two. I received a fitbit for Christmas and that has help me met my goals. I need to loose at lease 20 more pounds, continue to eat healthy, continue to exercise.
Today I saw my doctor and he approves of my goals and encouraged me to "continue on the journey" and my A1C should be down when we recheck it in a few months. I shared the info about my fitbit and sparkpeople with my doc and he agreed that these would be very helpful on my journey. All my other lab was near perfect, just have to get this sugar under control so I don't have to take meds for it.
When I get weary with my progress, I just remind myself that I must be consistant and I Will see results.
