Not expecting a loss this week.

Wow, ok I knew that I had been eating at the higher range of my calorie intake. I was over my calorie rang everyday! So over all, I have this week eaten a extra 1072 calories!!! And I know what I know that my biggest mistake was the bloody bag of chips in the basement. I got into it one night and without thinking about really I ended up eating that whole bag, even though it was not great, and was super greasy!

I have been working out everyday, mostly doing cardio, but I was wondering does me using my hula hoop also count as an ab workout because this hula hoop is not a kids toy, but one that has been modified and has about 5 lbs of sand in it, giving it weight. And after using it, my abs are sore the next day.

I also have been spending a lot of time playing on the wii fit and wii fit plus. I know that I can set up wii fit plus to tell me how many calories I've burned, but can I really trust that number? So far I have not, so when the wii tells me that I have burnt 225 calories, I am entering it on the spark that I have only burnt 190, which is 35 calorie difference. But is that really enough or is too much? I am having trouble trying to guess how much I have burnt. I know spark people allows me to track the free run and a few other games, but what about the other games?

Overall this week I have burned more then my recommend calories which is 720 calories, I have burnt off 1218 so far, and I am planning on hitting up that wii again tonight even though I was out walking today before that Nor'Easter lands here around 10 pm. So tomorrow I know I will be out scooping up the snow which is easier then shovelling, so I track shoveling and then cut the time in half, kinda like I do for my horse back ridding lessons, because there is no way I am burning over 600 calories in an hour, doing gentle ridding ( no faster then a trot) and grooming.

So my goal for this week, is to do a better job eating within my calorie range, and I am planning on keeping up this fitness routine I've got going on, and maybe mixing it some more, by adding some yoga, some dancing (latin ballroom, what can I say I have a Dvd), and maybe trying to find some free bellying dances online. Also maybe if I can find the space, and mom and dad are willing to maybe I can un-bury that treadmill in the basement, but until then I can't count on having that piece of equipment.

If I disappear over the weekend, it means the lights went out! Have a great one everyone!

    I like you went over my calorie range twice this week - yet I still lost weight by walking much more for longer periods - I have an official weigh in with my church men on Monday - I have lost - just hope I don't gain it back before then.
Now that the bag of chips are gone - don't replace them is my advice, coming from a person who just stuffed 6 candies in my mouth..
Shoveling snow will give you a good work out - just don't over do it.
