today we had event #1 of BHM celebration here at work. We call it a Taste of Soul when everyone brings in soul food dishes and you get a sample plate of anything that's available. Well lets just say it's a lot of food. I didn't eat a lot of the food but I did damage. I eyed this coconut walnut cake that I never had but boy oooo boy was it good. So, yes I'm going to workout tonight for real.

I just finished plotting out my workouts for the remainder of the month. I found a squat challenge on one of the blogs I follow but it really started in December. So when I looked at February I just knew it would be a bit much. For exmple Feb 8th is 110 squats. You don't have to do them all at one time but before the end of the day. So I tweaked January's a bit to get me ready to play catch up by March. On my calendar I have listed:
1. Gym or Wogging
5. Rest Days and Optional Saturday workouts
I've been pretty regular with either a Saturday or Sunday workout lately. So i hope to keep that up. My challenge is for the squats and planks everyday. Working on building my core to support my back problems.
I'm excited about this as I shared it with my daughter and niece.
Why is it if one female gives you a compliment another has to say something sassy, smart, rude or make faces? Why can't we just be happy for one another? Hey I would root you on if you're trying to lose weight and I notice. I'm not going to let her or any other woman steal my succcess, joy or satisfaction after all the sweat I've put out over the last few months.
But had to blog about my eating today. oooo Lord I'll be glad when this 45 minutes passes so I can get out of here. Sista full... but on a positive note. I drank a 16 ounce bottle of water before I went and an 6 ounce bottle of gatorade with my lunch. So I believe that help me not eat a lot!!!!
