The Weekend Approaches...

and I'm going to be good! I am going to eat well and go to the gym both days. It'll be great. Tonight I'm playing at Sam and Gabe's, but I'll ask for my food to take home at the end of the night instead of eating there. I will drink water. I will check out Paige's gig at the Cosmo, but I will keep drinking water, and since they finish at 11 I'll get plenty of sleep tonight. No need to get up at 5 am tomorrow, so I can get eight hours and then get to the gym. I'll do the treadmill, squats, push-ups, and abs, and then I'll go home to get ready for the day.

Here's the dilemma:

Mom and I have tickets for something called Baconfest tomorrow. Should I just not go to avoid temptation? Here's a link to the festival: http://www.blueribbonbaconfest

I love bacon. Who doesn't? It'll be hard to limit how much I eat, especially at a big bacon festival. I think a friend's band is playing though, and it'd be fun to hear them...maybe I could only have a few bites? and no alcohol?

Tomorrow night I can eat a home-cooked dinner of salad with tuna and possibly rice, and Sunday I will eat pretty healthy too. Hmm...I just have to decide what to do about the Bacon Festival.
