As part of the Winter 5% Challenge we have an assignment:
List all of the reasons you want to lose weight
One big one for me? I really, really want to slip into this pair of Levis I bought over a year ago.
They were a success story in a way-about this time last year I was at the lightest I had been since my wedding in 2005. I weighed 206. I went into the regular sized section selling jeans, and found a pair of curve id levis-built for girls with hips an thighs and bum. I tried them on-they were snug, but I could actually do up the zipper. Beforehand, I probably would have been depressed at my muffin top hanging out, but I decided to be happy-i was sooooo close to actually wearing them, and feeling good in my jeans!
Well, alot happened in a year. Mainly, I became pregnant; lost my baby at five months, and although I didnt eat my way through the mourning process, i stopped focusing on clean eating and running. Lost my spark!
I still have those Levis. They are in a stack in my closet, waiting.
Yes, its about running circles with my kids, being healthier as an example for them, feeling firmer and stronger and vital. Wearing a bathing suit without feeling the need to cover up. Owning my sexiness with my hubby:)
But for this challenge and perhaps a bit beyond it, I am chosing to focus on those damned
