1st 5K! and other musings

I signed up for my first 5K! I'm doing a color run, "Color me RAD", with a friend from the office in April. Basically, you run on a track at a local stadium and people throw powdered color bombs on you with each lap. People go nuts and wear all white and get the full effect of all the color bombs thrown. I think I will buy a plain white shirt. I'm most likely not wearing white pants. All the cardio I'm doing now should help, especially after I get my bike next week. It's still too cold for me to go walking or running outside, I hate the cold! I will, however, start going to the track after I get back from spring vacation and that gives me about a month before the race.

On to other musings.
Another member's blog got me thinking, what would my life be like in 5 years in a perfect world? What would I look like? How would I eat? What would my habits be?
Life will be well. My career will be on track, I will have made partner in my firm. My daughter will be off to the college of her dreams doing something she loves. She will be a happy healthy girl. I will weigh between 130 lbs and 140 lbs (according to BMI calculations, I should weigh 120 but I'm not so sure I want to go or stay there, we'll see). I will eat the stuff I eat now with a few more types of veggies added in, (I just added kale). I will know my maintenance calorie range and I will stick to it. I think I will still be tracking my food, by then, I should be so good at it , it will be second nature. I will be living an active lifestyle and working out 5-6 times per week. I'm generally happy now, I will be generally happy then.
What about you? Imagine, in a perfect world, what will your life be like in 5 years? What will that look like? What will you look like? How will you eat? What will your habits be?
