I really see the value of tracking my food. It's amazing how it adds up. A nibble here, a nibble there and all of a sudden, I have eaten 300 extra calories. By food tracking, I can more easily determine if I'm really making good choices with my food. I've also discovered that because I'm tracking my food, there are foods I've chosen not to eat because I didn't want to have to write it down, which ultimately saved me a few calories. Looking at the past week, I can see that I need to eat more variety of vegetables and more protein.
Tomorrow will mark one week of my health club's 90 day challenge. To stay on track, I need to have dropped 3 lbs. I'm hoping for 2 lbs. I would love to have the time today to work out a little bit more, but my schedule is nuts today. So, I'll drink my water, watch my food intake, and try to take as many steps as I can throughout the day.
