Murphy's Law, the minute I get my head in the game the channel gets changed. Well, I've been logging more time exercising, but finding it extremely difficult since the demands at work have skyrocketed. This is "crazy" month for grant writing, and I'm definitely being challenged. I am HAPPY to say, though, I'm being challenged physically at home now too!
I cannot be more pleased then to announce my husband and I have purchased FitBits and it has made a world of difference in his attitude and brought him from little (to non-existant) physical/exercise activities to actually making an effort to meet his step and stair goals each day.
This alone has been a HUGE boost to my activity levels. Although we are not in the same league as far as activity, I like being able to check in with him to see how he's doing without nagging! Plus, as my fitness minutes are showing, I've upped my levels too!
Today is the start to a new Zumba session series and I cannot wait. Next Tuesday starts a new physical fitness challenge class and I'm excited about that too!
Two week check in:
Increased level of fitness - check
Positive attitude - check
Increased energy - still working on that
Better sleep - not yet, but hopeful
Healthier eating - on track
Weight Loss - ? Haven't gotten on a scale, but I will maybe next week :)
Ok, back to the grind (and not the coffee).
