WHAT’S IMPORTANT

So many times we go through entire days, entire weeks or months, without thinking about what is the most important thing we can do right now. When we decide every day to go to God and ask Him what the most important thing we should be doing is, He will help us to do what it is His will. When we strive to do His will each day, He will use our time effectively so that we will get more things done. Putting God’s priorities first in our lives is exactly what He wants us to do.

1 Corinthians 15:10 “But whatever I am now, it is all because God poured out his special favor on me—and not without results. For I have worked harder than any of the other apostles; yet it was not I but God who was working through me by his grace.” (NLT)

Dear Lord, help us to focus on what is important to You right now. Help us to know what it is You want us to do that will help us to make a difference today. We know You have a plan. We know You want us to succeed. We know You have our best interest at heart and want us to help others. Show us today how to use our time effectively for You and make a difference. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

A day can make a difference when we focus on what it is God wants us to do and do it.

Doing what is important right now, to God, is how we can best use our time.

When we decide to do what is important to God and not man, and not even ourselves, God will help us to make a difference.
