fashing costumns of the kids.

Friday, February 08, 2013

yesturday ayman had fashing in the kindergarten(i know i said ayyub in my status proves i still ill, lol)he went as zorro.the costumn was a brought one so only had to do the face paints this time.

hope you can see his ponytail at the back, which is why we took the photo from the back.ayman likes long hair(the only one of my kids i am glad to say as it gets knotty easy, lol)zakariya went as luke skywalker.the cloak is the same one i made for ayyub.when i made it i thought to put an extra big hem on it so zakariya could also wear it when he only had to undo the hem.the trousers are an old pair of lotfi which i shorten last night and the top his karate top which i just took the badges off and will have to put back on at a later date.
the photo of zakariya and ayyub together(sorry it is sideways my man took it and i don´t kow how to alter it) i put in so you can see the size differance between them.i will post a photo in the jedi cape that zakariya has on at the end of this blog.the waistcoat that ayyub has on and you will see better in the below photos .that was zakariya´s waist coat and a size 152 which i altered to fit ayyub who is a size took it up at the shoulders and in at the side and back.had to do it all by hand as my sewing maching is still not fixed and it will be a while before i can by a new i miss my sewing machine so was up sewing till gone12 last night but i think it was worth it in the end to see the kids happy here is the photos of ayyub

and as promised ayyub in the jedi cloak

hope you enjoyed sharing my kids fashing you have fashing where you are.i know in england and wales we never had them but here in münchen it is fashing for two weeks.ayman has another fashing party on tuesday in kindergarten i have still yet to find out what he wants to be.hope it is a costumn we already have and that i don´t have to make it.if i had the sewing machine it wouldn´t bother me either way but without the sewing machine here is hoping he wants one of the fancydress costumn out ofthe fany dress box.take care and keep smiling and thanks once again for taking the time to read my blog.

Never heard of flashing before. It looks like a lot of work! But it looks like the boys must have thoroughly enjoyed it. I was always terrible about helping my kids with costumes. Not very creative I guess. Especially not with a sewing machine. Your boys will remember what you did for them for years to come.
