Cut Calories? Me?

So for Winter 5%, our 5th assignment was to answer these questions:

Is there something you eat often that you have learned to cut the calories on?
Not really. But I have a tendency to eat more salad in place of other things, but I still eat those things... I just make salad the majority and not the minority of my meal plant.

What works best for you?
Vegetables. No added free fats.... only when I am really desirous of "butter," do I eat substitutes, but for the most part, it's AVOCADOS. They are a "dieter's dream."

Do you have something you can share with us?
Cook with surgical stainless steal cookware and cook on low. You can get that fried effect without the oil.
I often sauté with water. I've been doing that for years. The caramelizing still happens.
