I've posted about this program a few times, but thought it was time for another update. Tonight, I moved into Week 3, Day 1. Last week was run for 90 seconds, walk for 2 minutes, repeat six times. Tonight was run for 90 seconds, walk for 90 seconds, run for THREE MINUTES, walk for three minutes, repeat twice. When I looked at the schedule and saw "Run for three minutes" I about died. Again, I thought "there is NO way. NO WAY!" But, me being me, decided I would at least try it and see how it went.
I did it. I ran for three minutes. Twice.
I was sweating, panting, and in general questioning my sanity, but I did it. When I started at the gym, I became winded WALKING too far. Now I'm running. Three minutes might seem like nothing to some people, but to me, it's nothing short of amazing.
