I still have one more part to my post about eating healthy and cheap.
I should have written it around 3:00 this morning when I realized that I was not actually going to get back to sleep.
I don't sleep long as it is ... and the FitBit rudely tells me just how bad it is. Less than six hours a night. And I wake up naturally.
This morning I went to bed early, about 10:30. I was exhausted and I was looking forward to a long night. Fell asleep quickly. The I woke to see the clock reading 2:15. And there was no ignoring why I woke up, so I took care of that and lay back down ... wide eyed. I tried a snack (grapes), water, a book, TV, a (another) shower, a walk on the treadmill. Nothing would get me back to sleep. In case you are keeping score, and the FitBit did, I got less than 4 hours sleep last night.
So I am more exhausted than last night. I am gong to try for a good night's sleep ... again.
