Do It Even When You Don't Feel Like It

Today, I was exhausted from work. However, today was my scheduled workout day! So, I put that workout DVD in after walking my dog and did my workout anyway! I felt great afterwards! Les Mills' Combat is an awesome workout. I did Combat 30 Kick Start. I feel so empowered with the kicks and with those punches!

Then, today is day #4 with my clean eating! I'm so proud of myself! I have been staying within my calorie intake! I still need to work on increasing my fiber intake, which should be 25-35 grams! I have been trending around 21 grams! Ugh! But, I will do my best to get at least 25 grams. But, I've been eating over 100 grams of protein, which has typically been in the low range before I started my eat clean lifestyle.

However, I have to figure out what I'm going to do with my chocolate cravings. Today, I wanted some chocolate. I have to see what I can eat when this craving comes. I know dark chocolate has health benefits with the antioxidants. But, I don't like the taste of dark chocolate. It's too bitter to me! I'll figure it out!

Tonight, I'm glad I worked out! Throughout the day, I'm glad I ate well! I cannot wait until my weigh-in on Saturday to see how these changes have panned out!

It always feel GREAT when you PUSH through a planned workout! I have been so sleepy I started working out slow then I got pumped and away I went! emoticon

Congratulations on all of your successes this week! I'm sure you will be satisfied with your progress. Also don't count out the inches which comes off quicker than the pounds at times. You are doing a great job with the decision to be healthy and fit. Kudos for NOT giving up!

    Great job! Just a little tip on the fiber...When I am running low for the day, I eat a cup of raspberries with a little stevia sprinkled on them. It has nearly 9 grams of fiber!!! I also found that after I had been eating clean for a while, my taste changed, so I found that I liked dark chocolate-covered almonds. Be careful, though. They're addictive!!! Good luck!

    Awesome! I would some great references on clean eating! After my detox I really want to focus on more clean eating!
