Sense of Smell

I'm a little behind on my blogs - I was affraid this would happen with "Tax Season" being here. Being busy at this time of the year can be a good thing or a bad thing - busy working means more tax cliens, more money but less time for exercise. My plans are to try & put it on my schedule when making appointments with clients.
So now I'm going to talk about the sense of smell!
The sense of smell: This can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on what is going on around you. Sometimes in one of my jobs (childcare) & it can be a blessing that I can’t smell something (like a diaper that needs changing). As I set in the doctors office the other day, there was a woman holding a young child & we got to talking. The child was only 14 months old & wanted down so she let him walk around the room, then she leaned over to the chair next to me to check on him & I wasn’t sure if I was going to make it. I actually had to get up to go get a magazine to move away from the smell. I did bring it back to my chair so I wouldn't look rude. Her body odor was so bad that it was hard for me to be next to her & that got me thinking about the doctors & how do they do it? In an exam no matter what kind of doctor it is, they have to get up close to you, so I feel very sorry for them. I tried hard to not judge this person because I don’t know what is going on in their lives but it made me think about how I wanted to make sure I take care of myself.
It got me thinking, do we smell the food we are eating, the things around us or for that matter our own body oder? Sometimes I think we get so busy that we forget to "Stop & smell the things around us or maybe it's jsut as simple as that we just don’t care?
So now I'm sure if you are reading this, you have stopped to see what you can smell around you - does it smell good or not so good?
