30 Day Challenge Revelation

So much of our lives is spent trying to make things perfect… to figure it out. Yet, what happens in those moments of clarity when you realize that no matter how hard you push, how far you get, you’ll never figure everything out. What keeps you moving forward in those moments?

As many of you may know, I am a Christian. To me this solidifies the fact that we will never ever ever (*don’t lie, you started singing the Taylor Swift song*), know everything. We were not created to know everything. Even the smartest person in the world will never know “it all”. Scientists have told us we only use 10% of our brains… so even if we tries, there’s no hope. So why try?

Honestly, I do not know sometimes. Nonetheless, I’ve decided that it is better to take one step forward and know something than to stay in the same place and know nothing.

What does any of this have to do with the Paleo challenge? Eh, not a whole lot. However, I know a bunch of people who don’t work out or try a different diet because it “doesn’t make sense” or “Dr. Oz said it wasn’t good”. Crazy, right?
We will never understand everything there is to know about how to stay skinny, how to lose weight quickly, how to find the right combinations; yet, if you wait until we know EVERYTHING about dieting/health/nutrition/rocke
t science, well… you’ll be waiting a really, really long time!

So stop making excuses and take one step in the right direction. Who cares that you had an unhealthy lunch? Eat a healthy dinner! Ate bad on Friday? Don’t throw away the whole weekend… each choice, every decision is a new chance to start fresh!
