Where has the time gone?

Thursday, February 07, 2013

On January 27, 2011 we had the worst ice storm in our area ever. That was my son's 20th birthday. We were stuck at the house for 3 days no power for a week. My Mother's house didn't have power for 34 days. I was suppose to start my new job that next Monday. I didn't start until February 11th. So next week I have been at my job for 4 years. I went from teaching preschoolers to taking care of hurting adults who sometimes act like preschoolers. I am now working on my degree for Medical Administrative Assistant to help me with running the Chiropractic office that I work at.

This July my daughter will be 21. There has been 5 times she almost didn't make it. So I keep telling her to keep her eyes open to see what God is going to do to with you it is going to be emoticon since he left you here. Though I also tell her that we may not know what it is while we are still here.

If the Lord is willing all our parents will be 70 this year. I used to think that is old but I will be 46 this year so 70 doesn't seen that old. emoticon

I just took my first comprehensive Medical Terminology test and made an 88. As I have always told my kids if you have done your best be proud. But I can say I didn't do my best. But I did what I could. I know what to do to prepare next time! Not that 88 is bad but if I put forth more effort just think of what I can do! But then again it has been 12 years since I finished college. So I am also learning how to learn again and this brain doesn't remember like it used to but I am just going to do my best and like it!

Well I better work on my Financial Accounting. One more set of problems and I am done with that homework. It is due tonight! Have a great day fellow Sparkers and remember that if we don't do the best for ourselves who will?

My area gets snow storms but our local utility responds quickly to water main problems or power outages.

That is great that you are taking the time to try and better yourself. You should be very proud.
