I have been living vegetarian for a few years now, I have never been a big meat fan. Maybe my parents weren't good cooks. Needless to say, I want to incorporate healthy eating in my children's diets and show them the benefits of a meatless diet.
Recently, we were watching a vegan documentary on Netflix called, "Vegucated." It showed a few scenes of actual animal slaughtering. I tried to cover my children's eyes when this was happening, but they seemed strangely curious about the events.
After the movie was over, my daughter said, "I think I want to be a Vegan, mom." I said that I want to start eating vegan as well.
A few moments later, she came up to me and asked, "Does that mean I can't eat bacon?"
