Day 4: Over the hump!

Day four is the worst, isn't it?
I find that when I'm trying to start or break and new habit or change something about my life, I'm really good for about three days and then...I fall off the wagon!
But today is Day four and I feel really good. I just had a delicious lunch and I'm headed over to the gym to try and conquer the stair climber yet again.
That thing is brutal!!!

Yesterday I was about 2000 steps short of my goal so I walked on the treadmill for about 20 minutes and watched an episode of Parks and Rec. Then I did about 10 minutes of floor exercises and then some stretches. What turned into a "well, it's almost time for bed" became a 35 minute workout! I was really proud of myself for that.

I have lost a fair bit of water weight but I'm not going to weigh-in officially until I return from Florida. I already have my running shoes and sports bra packed and I bought a new pair of workout pants at Target yesterday. Plus it will be hot there so I packed my swimsuit and I hope to get some swimming in as well.

Ok, that's it! I hope my momentum can carry through this weekend!
