Dr Oz once said that if one does not have that energetic " get up and go "
demeanor, the cause could be a magnesium deficiency. Often, one doesn't
get enough magnesium, from normal eating. I've noticed that myself, when
I look at my Daily Nutrition Report, here at Sparks. I started taking magnesium
supplements, after observing consistent deficiencies in magnesium, in my
diet. Then, one day, Dr.Oz mentioned that a good many people were deficient
in magnesium, and recommended supplements. I did find an increase in
" spark ", after starting my magnesium supplements. I've taken all the
different strengths, up to 500 mg per day. I highly recommend it, too !

The weather and being cooped up does have a lot to do with it. You may want to try writing a list of things you want to accomplish and why along with how you're plannning on getting there. Also make a list of things you don't want as part of your life or lifestyle. A schedule may help, too. What exercise you plan to do each day and time, etc. Hope you find that magic thing that does help.

when I am feeling down it helps me to look at other people's success stories and blogs and see how they were able to keep slogging through the down times. Another thing that helps me- is helping someone else- it could be a comment on spark people or running an errand for someone or giving another person you know is lonely a call. There is always something we can do for someone else that helps you move out of your own depression. emoticon

I have been feeling that way for a couple of weeks now. I could feel myself slipping into some bad behavior so I decided to kick up my effort. I changed up my diet so I was being very strict. I started taking naps because I had been feeling so tired. I made myself go to bed at a decent hour. I did cut down on the number of minutes I was exercising, but still did 30-60 minutes a day. I finally feel like I am doing better. So, my suggestion is to change your routine for a while and see if that helps.

I think JO88BAKO said it well. What is there to add?

Just begin. Do one little thing and celebrate that. Then add to it.

We're in this together! emoticon

It is so easy to get down and so hard to get back up. Talk to yourself. You are worth it. You can do it. You will do it. Get a good nights sleep. In the morning make a good choice. One good choice will lead to another. That will help you get back on top. Good luck
