Day 17 - Sushi and broken

I went out for sushi last night, and I now believe it is the ultimate indulgence in eating out. My calorie counter hit over 4000 before I could blink! I didn't think I ate that much, I only did two orders with my girlfriend, we normally do three or four! And I picked a healthy helping of Sashimi instead of additional rolls! We even had a helping of edename (sp?) to fill us up on healthy food first. Yeah.... RIGHT....
It's not good for you, none of it! It's high in calories, carbs and fat. It's way more then we should ever eat in a sitting and not really that filling so you eat ALOT. Yes, I know there are people out there who say "But I eat one little roll and I'm so full!" well Sparkles, not me!
I could eat sushi for hours. It's worse then turkey. I literally could eat it till I fell asleep. I love it. The choices and flavours make my mouth water, the green tea is fabulous with it, and the artistic way it's presented makes me OOohhh and Aweee. Love it.
And now I'm in post eating guilt filled regret. *booo
So, I went to the gym with my coworker (we'll call him Gruff) and got my but handed to me. No, we didn't do tons of cardio. We just burned it up today with triceps and chest workout for 60 minutes. And you know what he said? "Well since you have all that fuel in you, lets put it towards building your muscles!" I'm not sure how scientifically accurate that was, but man was it a good motivator! He's now walking around the office telling everyone he "Broke" me. But really he didn't. I'm sore, but I'm happy about it. And tomorrow, I'm going to run.
