We can have all kinds of friends. Some are close and some are casual. Of course, many are Spark Friends. We can have all different types of relationships. Some people we may talk to everyday and we are happy to do that. Others we may talk to now and then but we couldn't do without them. If too much time passes, we would surely miss them. There is another relationship we have that sometimes is ambiguous. It is our relationship with the scale.
We can visit with the scale too often but also too little. For example, Superbowl Sunday was a hectic day and I had to figure out some foods to entertain my husband and son with for the game. I was around a lot of food that day.... Actually most of the day. I didn't do too badly. However, the following day, I forgot about a friend I made early last month...... The scale. I forgot about that friend the next day too. .... And the next. Today is Thursday and I reacquainted myself with my old buddy. Good buddies don't lie. Fortunately, I did not gain weight. I did not lose either. So my friend .... The scale.... Just made me realize that I have to give myself another push! Thanks, friend! See you just a little sooner, next time:)
