I made two new recipes this week. I wasn't all that thrilled with the airfried pork chops but the flavor was good. The texture of the breadcrumbs didn't come out as crunchy as I had hoped. However, if we are craving shake n bake, it would definitely be a good substitute.
However, the Ginger Beef recipe was very good and is a keeper around here. I didn't dice the ginger slices, I ended up grating it since I was using frozen ginger root. I also didn't use as much meat as called for in the recipe. I was glad though since there wasn't any extra sauce. Since I wasn't making as much meat, I left out about a half tsp of ground ginger from the marinade and was glad that I did. It definitely packed a punch but it was a good punch. I will be adding this to my growing list of make our own takeout recipes.
