eating more when I'm sick

Thursday, February 07, 2013

I have a serious question for y'all and this may vary from person to person but when I'm sick or not feeling very well I tend to eat a lot more....I know that others tend to eat a lot less when they're not feeling good or are sick but I do eat the question is this: Why do I eat more when I am sick/not feeling well? and less when I'm well and happy?

Me too, the only time I don't is when I have the stomach flu, but other than that my husband is amazed at how much I eat when I am sick. Someone once told me it is because we feel like we can eat more because we are sick and food comforts us.

I don't know how true that is, but it may be the case. We all need comfort when we are sick.
