It's been 20 days now, and I've been working out consistently, and HARD! The scale hasn't moved much, and I can honestly say it's because of my eating. I've gone over my calorie count almost everyday for the past twenty days. i should be eating below 1630, and some days I get up to 3000. I will say that a large part of this spike is owed to my increased almond intake. I absolutely LOVE almonds, and I've snacked on them quite often. But, anyone who eats nuts knows that they are high in fat and in calories.
So, thankfully I finished off the bad yesterday, lol. Now, I'm ready to get serious about my eating habits. My mother has lost over 25 lbs on weight watchers, and that's mainly from adjusting her own eating habits. She snacks on things like bell peppers, carrots, celery, etc. But the thing with me is, I REALLY like food. Sometimes, I just eat and I'm not necessarily hungry.
I need a MOTIVATION CIRCLE. These eating habits are the only thing holding me back. My goal is to lose 5 pounds a month for the next 4 months, and then to maintain. I know that I can do this!
I think I'm going to buy a ton of frozen veggies and do less processed foods. The fresh veggies won't last long, and I can't get to the store that often. I'll get some canned veggies as well.
All in all, my plan of action is to SNACK ON VEGGIES ALL THE TIME! Those times when I just want to chew, or feel something in my belly, or whenever I'm bored.... VEGGIES, VEGGIES and MORE VEGGIES!!
