So I'm standing in line at Starbucks, hungry, and trying to decide on a snack. I'm drooling over the cream cheese danish and the cinnamon rolls. They both look great. And they're both over 300 calories each, and have very little in actual nutritional value. Then I looked up at the bagels.
I used to HATE bagels! Too much bread. But that's changed over the years, with Spark and finding GOOD bagels.
I ended up with a "Everything with cheese bagel" with light cream cheese. :) 185 calories total for half the bagel and half the cream cheese - hubby always gets the other half. Better yet, only 30 of carbs and some actual protein. Go me!
Now I know I don't have to worry AS much about calories now, but since we're not sure if I'm diabetic at the moment, I'm trying to watch the carbs, and I still want to be eating healthily for me and my baby. :) So I'm proud of myself! Take THAT, gooey confectiony thing! :D LOL!
