2/7/13 Weekly Update

My number on the scale this morning was disappointing. But, I kind of expected it. Here is why:

Sleep: I have been doing really well with this. It is something I have struggled with for a very long time, but I am keeping a calm nightly routine and going to bed around the same time each night and waking up within an hour range in the mornings. I am very proud of my progress with this!

Food: I was able to stay in my calorie range (all but one day, Superbowl Sunday), but my choices weren't very healthy. I could feel a difference in my energy level with the choices I was making. I also updated my goals for working out on the SP website and it has raised my calorie intake. I will make the adjustment and see if it helps or hurts my weight loss. I am skeptical.

Water: 10+ cups a day. Sticking to this. I always have a glass/bottle of water with me no matter where I am... in the car, in the kitchen, watching tv... it helps when it's right there and you can see it.

Exercise: I got my time and calorie goals met for this week, but I am going to up them a little, in order to push myself. My goal for this week is to add more strength training.

Relationships: I am working on this. It is hard to meet new people and make friends in a new city. But, I am getting myself involved with volunteering opportunities and my Zumba classes.
