I've been reallly looking foward to my day off this week! The last couple days at work have been crazy! I work at a small vet clinic (i'm a vet tech) and it's just been a weird couple days...short staffed...which for us is major because we are a small clinic. And our 2 surgeries went waaaaay longer than anticipated. So my plan was to go to the gym during my break (then it began to snow like crazy and I drive a mustang...which if you don't know...is HORRID in the snow) BUT I didn't get a break anyway because of the long lasting surgeries! So it was a looong 10 1/2 hour day. SO hooray for my day off!
Weighed myself today and down 2 more pounds! So 12 pounds so far in a month! Hooray! I already feel soooo much better. I've really been focusing on finding things and routines that will work for me. I think that's what makes things like losing weight sucessful. So far i've realized...gym time in during the lunch hour...great. Making lunch night before...great! And planning out our dinners for at least a week. Also working great! I'm happy...husband is happy because he gets meals each night! Yay!
I'm back up to running 2 miles which feels awesome too! I still need to go online and find some trails to run on once it warms up. Since we moved last summer (and then I wasn't running) I'm not sure where to go! Hoping I can find some spots near the river to run...love scenic runs!
