Slow and Steady

It has been a month since my last visit to the nutritionist and I was down the 4 pounds that I put back on over the holidays and 1.5 inches. I was hoping it would be better but she reminded me that your body holds on to weight sometimes and you go through those periods where you feel like you are working hard and nothing is happening and then one day you will get on the scale and start seeing a difference again. I have to tell myself that even when the scale doesn't move, I am healthier than I was and getting healthier all the time.
