We went to eat out last night. We all agreed to go to a local cafe that has amazing salads. We all got a salad and enjoyed our night out.
I couldn't help but notice an obese man sitting a few tables from us. He probably was in his late 50's, all white hair and NOT smiling with his wife; who was a mere 120-30 lbs eating a salad as well.
I just recall seeing them not talking, he seemed pretty unhappy and the one thought I kept having was, 'if I don't lose this weight", we will probably end up like them. Now, don't get me wrong he could have been the happiest soul alive, but people who are happy are obvious and animated. But this man was stone faced, silent and they were not conversing at all.
As I was eating, I happened to look his way and caught him looking at me. He had that expression of sadness and I could swear, he was thinking something like "Hey mister, you have got to lose your pounds, otherwise you're looking at your future. Sad, heavy and limited...". His face stuck with me and if my fantasy words motivate me, well then let them. The guy was probably not thinking anything and it's all a figment of my imagination. The bottom line, my take away was that I DID see my future last night; undoubtedly and I want to change for the better.
What is a figment anyway? Little figs? After digging deep in the caverns of the Internet, I found the answer here! If you can dream it, you can create it.
