Once again I woke up around 5am but this time Little Miss Pep was still dead to world, as I wished to be. I got up, did my body test on the Wii (measures weight, balance, gives you an "age") and still I could not shake the groggy. Normally if I at least get out of bed and get moving, I'll wake up. Not today. Today my body hurts. A lot. So I skipped the morning workout, had a high-protein/low-calorie breakfast (egg whites, a tiny bit of raw cheese, and 2 oz of chicken), and I'll see how I feel after work. I *WANT* to work out but I also know how important it is to listen to my body...and today my body says rest!
